Find your ground and continue to Grow.
Attachment-informed therapy for adults navigating relationships, heartbreak, dating, and the patterns that shape how we connect. You don't have to have it all figured out before you begin.
Maybe you're repeating patterns you don't understand.Maybe you're navigating heartbreak, struggling in a relationship, or trying to understand why connection can feel so complicated.Ground & Grow is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and better understand what's happening beneath the surface. Together, we can make sense of the experiences and patterns that have shaped you and create space for something different.
GROWTH BEGINS WHERE YOU FEEL SAFE ENOUGH TO TAKE ROOT.
First we ground then we grow
Meaningful growth begins with understanding. Before we can create something different, we need space to understand where we've been, what has shaped us, and the ways we've learned to navigate the world.
GROUND
Understanding yourself.
Your emotions.
Your relationships.
Your patterns.
Your history.
The parts of you that developed to protect you.
GROW
Creating space for something different.
New ways of relating.
New choices.
Greater self-understanding.
Healthier relationships.
Moving forward without abandoning who you've been.
Who I work With
Whether you're navigating a relationship, dating, heartbreak, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, therapy can provide space to slow down, reconnect, and explore what's underneath the patterns you're experiencing.
Therapy for the parts of life that happen between people and within you.
RELATIONSHIPS
Communication, conflict, trust, emotional connection, boundaries and recurring patterns.
DATING & ATTACHMENT
Understanding attachment patterns, fears around closeness, rejection, abandonment and navigating dating.
HEARTBREAK & BREAKUPS
Processing loss, rebuilding your sense of self and finding your footing after a relationship ends.
PERSONAL GROWTH
Understanding yourself more deeply, developing self-awareness and creating more freedom in how you relate to yourself and others.
Philosophy
What if the pattern you're frustrated with once protected you?We all develop ways of navigating the world for a reason. The ways we protect ourselves, cope, and relate to others often served an important purpose at some point in our lives.
Rather than judging those patterns, we can become curious about where they came from, what they were trying to do for us, and whether they are still serving us today.
UNDERSTANDING A PATTERN IS ONE THING. BEING ABLE TO SHIFT IT IS ANOTHER.
Change takes time. Therapy can create enough safety and awareness to understand what is happening within you before creating space for something different.
About Madison
My favourite part of this work is the opportunity to create a space where you can take a breath and have somewhere to put down whatever you've been carrying. I love hearing the stories that make someone who they are, the things they're proud of, the things they're still figuring out, and all the little moments in between.
I want to celebrate the wins with you, make space for the growing pains, and sit with you through the moments that feel messy or uncertain. It is a privilege to be invited into your story and to witness the growing, the unfolding, the hard days, and the breakthroughs along the way.

How I work
Understanding before changeMy approach is attachment-informed, emotion-focused, relational, and integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are and understand the whole person; your experiences, emotions, relationships, and patterns, not just what brought you to therapy.
The therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the work. Together, we can notice what happens when you feel vulnerable, misunderstood, close to someone, uncertain, or afraid of rejection, and explore those experiences with curiosity and compassion.
I don't believe therapy is about rushing you toward an outcome. It's about understanding where you've been, honouring what helped you get here, and creating room for where you're going.
What Therapy Can Feel Like
What Therapy Can Feel Like
You don't have to perform hereYou don't need to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or arrive with everything figured out. Therapy can be a place to slow down, take a breath, and bring the parts of yourself that may feel difficult to understand or share elsewhere.
We can make space for the joyful parts, the confident parts, the parts that are still learning, and the parts that have felt lonely, hurt, rejected, or afraid.
Your pace matters. There is no expectation that you need to rush into vulnerable places before you're ready. Together, we'll create a therapeutic relationship where you can feel seen, understood, and supported as you explore what you're experiencing and where you want to grow.
